Perhaps UWVC’s most prominent event, the NYC Veterans Day Parade. Commemorating all veterans, service men and women, alike, the parade has grown in stature, attendance and participation, each year since it was revitalized again in 1991. The 2010 parade was the largest of its kind to date, and we are only too optimistic that the parade will continue to grow and evolve. With over 250 participating groups, 18,000+ marchers, and 600,000+ spectators, the NYC Veterans Day Parade was the featured event in a year of terrific events.
